南加州新冠疫情-狼来了？
新冠状病毒肺炎从武汉开始，一个多月来媒体上沸沸扬扬，消息在时刻更新，中国现在似乎平静些了，但全世界病例却在大比例增长，WHO己在2天前的11日正式宣布，新冠状病毒肺炎已在世界范围内大流行。美国现在确诊病例有1000多例，我们所在南加州六个县有一千多万人口，只有60多个确诊病人，其中全美最大的落杉矶县有40病例。这些天来，老美并没有怎么在乎新冠病毒这支狼，南加州除了华人，你几乎看不到一个其他族裔的人戴口罩，前几天洛杉矶还举行了几万人参加的马拉松比赛。
今天形势有明显转变，上午大落杉矶地区的许多学区宣布停课关闭至少2星期，下午川普总统发布了State of Emergency，全美进入紧急状态。晚7点半我如往常一样赶在Sam's Club 8点半关门前去采购些下星期要吃的水果及点心，但在Sam’s看到的景象却今人震撼。这么晚去以前从末排队，这次队伍长长的，排了十几分钟才进来，里面人山人海，一半以上的货架竟完全被采购一空，我所要采购的东西全部缺货，只得扫兴而归。与之前一两个星期华人为主不同，今天采购大军以白人和老墨为主，看来满不在乎的美国南加州人也意认到新冠状病毒这只狼真的可能会来了。
总的来说，南加州确诊的60多例新冠肺炎对1千多万南加州人来说，发病率极低，但如放松警惕也可能会局部流行起来。而要有南加州的新冠大流行却不容易，一则南加州冬天也风和日丽(附图)，温度常会到摄氏20度以上，而新冠病毒在20度及以上的体外环境很难生存。二则新冠病毒生长需要潮湿的环境，而南加州气候干燥，不利于病毒生长。这两点解释了南加州人口流动，人口密度和总数虽然在全美数一数二，但它的病例却远低于纽约和华盛顿州，也低于潮湿的北加州。到底新冠病毒这支狼会不会横行南加州，也许十几天后就能见真章，让我们拭目以待。

I wear size 8 shoe -orderd size 8 -normal width .I m 5'7" -130 lbs . They fit perfect . Little snug at first as are all new shoes . Hope this helps with concerning ordering a size larger issue .
